Candace

Owner/Master Stylist

She is the owner at Violet Salon & Spa. She has been doing hair for over 20 years and has been working in the Riverbend area for the last 10+ years. Her love for hair cutting began after attending the Vidal Sassoon academy in Toronto. Her specialty is natural looking styles, cuts and colours. Candace's go to product is the Pai-Shau Opulent Volume Spray because it adds body and texture to all hair types. When she is not at work you can find her at the cottage, walking her dog or digging around in her garden. Candace has a natural approach to hair and would love to see you in her chair one day!

Cass

Master Stylist

Cass has been a stylist for 29 years, drawing inspiration from social media and celebrity trends to create stunning looks. She specializes in razor cutting, hair coloring, blonding, and crafting long, shaggy styles and fades. Passionate about learning, Cass is always exploring new trends and techniques to bring fresh ideas to her clients. She loves making people feel comfortable and heard in her chair, whether they’re preparing for a special occasion or refreshing their style. When she’s not in the salon, Cass enjoys working out, cooking, watching movies, and spending time with her fur grandbabies and boyfriend by the bonfire.

Chelsey

Stylist

Chelsey began her journey in the hair industry in 2018 as a salon receptionist while pursuing her university degree, eventually graduating from hair school in 2021. She has been behind the chair for four years, building meaningful relationships with her clients and helping them feel beautiful and confident. Chelsey specializes in vivid colors, blonding, and corrective transformations, while also honing her skills in barbering. Her dedication earned her the Highest Achievement Award in 2023 for excellence as a new journeyperson in hairstyling. Outside the salon, Chelsey enjoys painting, drawing, crafting, and spending time with her partner Nicolas and their three fur babies, exploring the great outdoors through hiking, biking, and fishing trips.

Stylist

My name is Micheline, I have been in the hair industry both behind the chair and educating for over 17 years. I love what I do! I love to specialize in extensions and colour corrections! I am certified in tape ins and weft extension and am continuously keeping up with education to be my absolute best for you. When I’m not behind the chair you will find me with my other half, Michael and my mini me, Paisley. We love anything outdoors fishing, camping and exploring! I would love to make your hair dreams come true and look forward to seeing you in my chair!

Laura

Nail Tech

Laura has been in the Beauty Industry for 35 years. She began her career in 1985, in Texas, as a Cosmetologist doing both hair and nails and continued doing the same when she immigrated to Canada in 1987. Then, after training as a LCN nail technician in 1993, Scuptured Gel Nails became her specialty. After all these years she still loves learning new techniques and using new products available in the ever changing nail industry. Laura loves doing nail art techniques. "Baby Boomers" or white ombre nails, are her favorite! And of course anything sparkly!! The product she recommends most for her nail clients is Cuticle Oil! It is a game changer for both natural and enhanced nails. Laura's passion, outside of work is traveling the world and spending time with her family.

My amazing journey being a stylist started 17 years ago. My inspiration comes from following newest trends, taking classes and also listening to what your client wants. I absolutely love doing lived in colors and blonding services. My accomplishments. Hairstyling came very naturally for me. I was one of the top in my graduating class. I have the opportunity to live in Taiwan for 4 years teaching English and running my own hair salon. I have never lost the love for anything about hair. I am certified in hair extensions as well. In my free time I love spending time outside in nature. I love adventure camping, hiking and travelling. I love all things hair and making people feel beautiful and empowering.

My passion lies in cutting hair for all people, no matter their hair type, and I’m excited to dive into bold, vibrant fashion colors as I grow in this industry. My creativity is fueled by everything I consume—movies, TV, books, music, and video games—all of which shape my artistic vision. That’s what I love most about this career—it never feels like just a job. I’m an artist, a music lover, a theatre kid at heart, and I pour every bit of myself into what I do.
